INTRODUCTIONAlensol-D Tablet is prescribed to treat osteoporosis. It prevents bone loss and helps in thickening of the bones. It also strengthens the muscles to support the body.

BENIFIT OF TABLETOsteoporosis is a common condition that causes bones to become fragile and brittle so that they break (fracture) more easily. Fractures may be painful and restrict a person’s ability to carry out their normal daily tasks. Alensol-D Tablet reduces the risk of a fracture occurring in osteoporosis. It also helps in the growth and development of bones as well as maintain strong bones. Since osteoporosis doesn’t usually have any symptoms such as pain (until a fracture occurs) you might not ‘feel’ any immediate benefit from your treatment with Alensol-D Tablet. Keep taking it untill your doctor asks you to stop. Along with medicines, eat a balanced diet rich in calcium and vitamin D like dairy products, green leafy vegetables etc.

HOW TO USE TABLETTake this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Alensol-D Tablet is to be taken empty 

HOW TO TABLET WORKAlensol-D Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Alendronic Acid and Vitamin D3 which treat osteoporosis. Alendronic Acid is a bisphosphonate. It works by suppressing the activity of osteoclasts, cells that cause destruction of bone. This strengthens the bone and minimizes the risk of fractures. Vitamin D3 helps protect your bones, both by increasing calcium absorption and by supporting muscles needed to avoid falls.
