HOW TO TABLET WORKPiperacillin + Tazobactum is a combination of two medicines: Piperacillin + Tazobactum1 and Piperacillin + Tazobactum2. Piperacillin + Tazobactum1 is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Piperacillin + Tazobactum2 is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Piperacillin + Tazobactum1 against bacteria.
