BENIFIT OF TABLETDuchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) is a type of muscular dystrophy, characterized by muscle weakness and atrophy due to the effect of the body’s immune system mechanisms. Mahacort DZ Suspension slows the progression of DMD. The exact mechanism by which it acts is unclear, but it is thought to help mediate the condition by suppressing the immune system. For DMD, Mahacort DZ Suspension is approved to be used in children above 5 years of age.

HOW TO USE TABLETTake this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Mahacort DZ Suspension may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Mahacort DZ Suspension decreases the formation of chemical substances like prostaglandins, leukotrienes, and interleukins that are involved in inflammation, allergy, and cell multiplication.
