INTRODUCTIONSTOLIN GUM ASTRINGENT 15ML belongs to a class of drugs called 'antiseptic' primarily used to treat gum problems like swollen, bleeding, spongy or lose gums. Besides this, STOLIN GUM ASTRINGENT 15ML is used to treat mouth ulcers, pyorrhoea (a severe gum infection that destroys jawbone and loosens teeth), gingivitis (gum inflammation) or vincent’s disease (dirty grey ulceration of the mucus membranes).

BENEFITSTOLIN GUM ASTRINGENT 15ML is a combination of three drugs, namely: Tannic acid, Zinc chloride and Cetrimide used to treat gum problems. Tannic acid is an astringent (contracts body tissues) that works by precipitating the proteins that contract skin cells. Thus, it helps in healing and relieves irritation due to mouth ulcers. Zinc chloride is a haemostatic agent with astringent properties that stops bleeding and toughens the skin. Cetrimide belongs to the class of antiseptics that works by preventing the growth of fungi and bacteria that could infect broken skin in the mouth.

HOW TO USEUse STOLIN GUM ASTRINGENT 15ML as prescribed by your doctor. Massage a sufficient amount of STOLIN GUM ASTRINGENT 15ML over the affected area of gums. STOLIN GUM ASTRINGENT 15ML is for external (dental) use only.
