USES OF TABLETEczema

BENIFIT OF TABLETEczema is a condition in which patches of skin swells and becomes dry, itchy, rough and red. Betnovate-S Ointment moisturizes the skin and helps reduce dryness and itchiness. It reduces swelling and redness at the affected area. Apply 1-2 times a day or as prescribed by your doctor. You might see an improvement in your skin after 2 to 3 weeks of treatment.

HOW TO USE TABLETThis medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and gently massage the ointment.

HOW TO TABLET WORKBetnovate-S Ointment is a combination of two medicines: Betamethasone and Salicylic Acid which treat eczema and psoriasis. Betamethasone is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Salicylic Acid is a keratolytic medicine which breaks down keratin clumps, removes dead skin cells and softens the skin. It also enhances the absorption of Betamethasone into the skin.
