BENEFITEczema is a condition in which patches of skin swells and becomes dry, itchy, rough and red. Powercort-S 6% Ointment moisturizes the skin and helps reduce dryness and itchiness. It also reduces swelling and redness at the affected area. Apply Powercort-S 6% Ointment 1-2 times a day or as prescribed by your doctor. You might see an improvement in your skin after 2 to 3 weeks of treatment.

HOW TO USEThis medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and gently massage the ointment.

HOW TO WORKPowercort-S 6% Ointment is a combination of four medicines: Clobetasol, Salicylic Acid, Lactic Acid and Urea which treat eczema and psoriasis. Clobetasol is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Salicylic Acid, Lactic Acid and Urea are keratolytic medicines which break down keratin clumps, remove dead skin cells and soften the skin. They also enhances the absorption of Clobetasol into the skin.
