INTRODUCTIONSilverex Ionic Gel 10 gm belongs to the class of drugs called antiseptics used in the treatment of cuts, burns and wounds. It also helps to prevent infections on the wounds. Burns are injuries that damage the skin or deeper tissues and cause the death of affected skin cells. Based on the severity of skin damage, burns are categorized into 3 main types, namely, first-degree, second-degree and third-degree burns.

Silverex Ionic Gel 10 gm contains two antiseptics, Silver nitrate and Ethyl alcohol. Silver nitrate possesses both antiseptic and antimicrobial properties. It releases silver ions into the skin that kills or inhibits the growth of microorganisms. Ethyl alcohol works by killing microorganisms on the skin and preventing infection.

HOW TO USEUse Silverex Ionic Gel 10 gm as prescribed by your doctor. Check the label for directions before using Silverex Ionic Gel 10 gm. Apply a small amount of Silverex Ionic Gel 10 gm on the affected area. Cover the treated area with cotton or gauze dressing. Silverex Ionic Gel 10 gm is only for external use. Avoid contact of Silverex Ionic Gel 10 gm with nose, mouth or eyes. In case Silverex Ionic Gel 10 gm comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly. Wash your hands before and after using Silverex Ionic Gel 10 gm if hands are not the affected area.
